Zhang Ziyi stuns in Cong Tri gown at 2025 Gold Gala Awards

Zhang’s gown is from Tri’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The figure-hugging design featured a V-shaped neckline, subtle pleats on the skirt, and sharp-shouldered detailing, which added a bold and powerful touch to her look.

She paired the gown with a striking jewelry set from Tiffany.

Zhang’s team worked closely with Tri in April to prepare for the event. Tri expressed his delight at being chosen by the internationally renowned actress, noting that she appreciated his design.

The Gold Gala Awards 2025 was held in Los Angeles on May 10 to honor individuals of Asian descent for their outstanding contributions to the arts and community. Other honorees included Chinese director Ang Lee, Indian actress and beauty queen Priyanka Chopra, American filmmaker Jon M. Chu, and American rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

The event was organized by Gold House, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

Zhang, 46, gained global recognition for her role in the 2000 film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," which received 10 Academy Award nominations. She also earned numerous awards for her performance in the 2013 film "The Grandmaster."

Tri, 47, hails from Da Nang in central Vietnam. He founded his brand in 2009 and has since become a favorite designer for many A-list celebrities, including Adele, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron, Katy Perry, and Rihanna.
